First edit for the Downhill Brigade

Three weeks ago the JGS crew went out to Alyeska Resort and hooked up with trail crew boss Jake Young to tour the mountain bike trails they have been working so hard on. Taking some pictures, notes and riding the trails we came up with a plan to shoot the start of a video. Three weeks later it all came together with four filmers, two photographers and seven riders, most who had never even met till this day.

JGS went out a few days prior and installed a 500' cable zip line rig for following the riders down the trail bobcat. We attached a Canon 7D and Contour+ to the rig for filming each rider. This rig is a very technical and touchy system but because of the engineering mind of Kris Brons we were able to design an almost flawless system.  We are creating a behind the scenes video with this project to show how much work went into this out of pocket project.  This project was the most organized shoot JGS has ever planned and we are excited about the outcome. ABC and Fox news Alaska came out for the afternoon and interviewed us about the project and they will be doing a special feature on TV before the full release of the video. We plan to have the two videos complete within the next two weeks.
